ChristoChristo Du Plessis

Christo Du Plessis

Property Manager
Christo Du PlessisA regular Mr Fix-it with childhood aspirations to become an engineer, Christo’s conscientious and level headed approach to problem solving has been nurtured from an early age. Today it’s put to good use in his role as Young London’s Property Manager; on hand to help tenants and landlords resolve any maintenance issues that may crop up.

Christo most loves London for the fact that there is always something to do. Whether it be enjoying a pint at The Old Salt Quay Pub in Rotherhithe, spending an afternoon browsing the stalls at Portobello Market, fine dining at Gaucho or enjoying a quieter moment at Greenwich Observatory; the Capital never fails to entertain!

DavidDavid Lockyer

David Lockyer

Property Management Assistant
David LockyerWhile he was growing up David dreamt of being a rugby player, and his love of sport stays with him today as he continues his martial arts training in his spare time. He likes socialising and meeting new people which is what drew him to this people-facing role, and he says that the best part of his job is hearing the individual stories that people share.

David loves Greenwich Park in the summer as there is so much going on, and thinks St Paul’s Cathedral is the most iconic building on the London skyline. Its pretty impressive close-up too, so he suggests a wander around its exterior before heading towards Trafalgar Square and having a wheat beer at the Chandos Pub (opposite the National Portrait Gallery).

Hannah Phillips

Property Management and Office Administrator
Hannah PhillipsHannah previously wanted to be a forensic investigator, and in many ways undertaking inspections isn’t too far of a stretch from that childhood dream! She enjoys the variety of her job, and finds resolving tenant’s maintenance issues as quickly as possible very satisfying.

Living south of the river its no wonder she considers the South Bank London’s best attraction, due to its excellent views and night-time ambience. For day time she recommends either the rose garden in Regents Park or Kew Gardens for wiling away sunny afternoons, as well as a visit to the Tower of London. She loves London because it has something for everyone, from the bustle and vibrancy of certain areas to other calmer, quieter parts.

Jane Reeves

Portfolio and Finance Consultant
Jane ReevesWhile Jane’s current profession is a far cry from her early desire to be a hairdresser, a desire to provide excellent service to clients is a transferable attribute that keeps everyone that she deals with professionally very happy.

Socialising is an important pastime for Jane, and she recommends Covent Garden as the place to visit for all those new to London. She is also a fan of the several bars and restaurants dotted around Canary Wharf for post-work dinner and drinks. She spends her weekends just down the river - either wandering around attractions like the Tower of London or soaking up the sun on the banks of the Thames in the summer.

Mark Chamberlain

Contracts and Compliance Manager
Mark ChamberlainA stickler for law and order from a young age, Mark’s childhood ambition to be a policeman has undoubtedly set him in good stead for his role as Young London’s Contracts & Compliance Manager. Providing a first class service to everyone he comes into contact with, helping each client understand all stages of the renting/letting process, really puts a smile on Mark's face.

Mark’s favourite London landmark is the River Thames and he would recommend that everyone visiting our fine Capital should simply take in the view from the middle of Waterloo Bridge at night!

MauroMauro Cecchi

Mauro Cecchi

Property Consultant
Mauro CecchiComing from an Italian family and growing up in South Africa, as a nipper, Mauro pondered several several different career paths (Pilot, Fireman, Marine Biologist…) before relocating to London and pursuing his career as one of Young London’s top notch Property Consultants. Helping house hunters find their perfect pad, the aspect Mauro most enjoys is seeing how happy buyers are when they complete on their new homes.

Mauro cites the variety of entertainment and food as what he most enjoys about London life. In fact, something of a food aficionado, Mauro lists Borough Market, selling the best fruit and veg, as his top London attraction and would recommend Paul’s French Bakery for the best bread and Soho’s Bar Italia for the perfect coffee.

RajivRajiv Mehta

Rajiv Mehta

Property Consultant
Rajiv MehtaRajiv’s childhood dream was to be a professional cricketer, and he still enjoys playing the sport socially on summer days in Hyde Park. A great organiser, he has previously arranged a charity yoga event where 7000 people attended each day for a fortnight. He puts these co-ordinating skills to use at work, where he says the best part of his job is seeing tenants move into their new homes.

Although hailing from East London, most of Rajiv’s favourite city haunts are located centrally. If he could live anywhere he would choose Leicester Square, due to its busy atmosphere, central location and all the nice bars and restaurants around. While the London eye is his favourite tourist attraction, he actually thinks the views from Canary Wharf are better!

Raymar Batten

Contracts Executive
Raymar BattenDespite childhood dreams of becoming an opera singer, Raymar’s attention to detail took her in a different direction and she joined Young London as Contracts Executive, where she thrives on the camaraderie and cooperation of her colleagues. However, not one to suppress her more creative talents, Raymar continues to take centre stage in her spare time citing Salsa dancing as her all time favourite pastime.

Raymar loves the 24 hour lifestyle of the Capital and would recommend her favourite live music venue, Brixton Academy, and late night haunt, Soho’s Floridita Club to anyone. Raymar is justifiably most proud of London for its diverse cultures.
