About E2
E2, home to Bethnal Green and Shoreditch is a genuine London melting pot! It is right next to the financial heart of the City and is well connected to the city's transport infrastructure. The area has undergone something of a renaissance as the areas of Hoxton and Shoreditch have become increasingly desirable.
Bethnal Green has some beautiful buildings - a legacy from its long association with the fabric trade - and the area has a number of green open spaces and parks; notably Haggerston Park, Shoreditch Park, London Fields and Victoria Park. The picturesque Regent’s Canal runs through E2, which has seen some small scale, sympathetic residential redevelopment along its banks in recent years.
The historic and famous Broadway Market is located in E2, the buzzing centre of the community offering a wide choice of speciality shops, cafes and restaurants and a weekly Saturday farmers’ market. Nearby Islington, Hoxton, Old Street and Liverpool St offer an even wider selection of bars, restaurants, clubs, galleries & boutiques.
Transport:
Bethnal Green underground station offers access to the tube network via the Central Line, with services running east-west between Epping and Ealing Broadway. Overground rail services run through Bethnal Green, Cambridge Heath and London Fields stations, terminating at Liverpool Street station.
