About the Area:
Located in the North West London boroughs of Camden and Westminster, NW8 is home to the exclusive enclaves of St John’s Wood and Primrose Hill.  Offering between them a diverse range of independent shops, cafes, pubs and leafy residential streets, the areas are well loved, and remain popular among their affluent patrons, for their ‘urban village’ atmosphere.

With a bustling high street, St John’s Wood is also home to Alfie’s Antique market which, loved for its bohemian atmosphere, attracts visitors from all over the world and has established itself as the Capital’s foremost centre for antiques, collectables and vintage fashion.

NW8 is also the location of the world renowned Abbey Road Studios where The Beatles recorded their Abbey Road album. Abbey Road remains popular today among fans who continue to visit in their droves to recreate the iconic album cover on what has become the most famed pedestrian crossing in the world! Lord’s Cricket Ground, recognsied as the ‘home of cricket’ is also found in NW8; the original headquarters of the sport, the grounds are today home to Marylebone and Middlesex Cricket Club and houses the world’s oldest sporting museum.

To the North Eastern border of NW8 lies Regent’s Park; one of the Capital’s best loved parks, it offers a large lake and boating area, sports pitches, children’s playgrounds, gardens, an open air theatre and the ever popular London Zoo.  Primrose Hill, on the Northern edge of the park, offers one of the best views of the Capital and is loved by locals and the odd celebrity alike! Both the park and Primrose Hill can be reached after a pleasant stroll along Regent’s Canal which runs from the Grand Union Canal in the West to Limehouse Basin in the East.

Transport
St John’s Wood tube station (on the Jubilee Line), offers fast access to the West End (Bond Street in 6 minutes) and Waterloo (in 13 minutes) and beyond to Canary Wharf and East London.

Baker Street station is one stop from St John’s Wood with interchange to the Circle Line, Hammersmith & City Line and Bakerloo Line through central London.
