Canal Cafe
This little theatre has been perched on the edge of the canal in little Venice since 1979. It is now a thriving comedy and new writing venue, and home to Guiness World Record holders: NewsRevue. (“Longest running live comedy show”).
They provide a platform for talented new acts and the cabaret style theatre with its candle lit tables offers performers and audiences alike an intimate and exciting atmosphere. Some wonderful performers have performed at the theatre (The League of Gentlemen, Daniel Kitson, The Consultants, Stewart Lee, Pete Firman,) and they continue to host a wave of bright new talent and brilliant comedians.
The theatre is set above the very lovely Bridge House Pub, ideal for pre and post show drinks, dinner and get-togethers. Little Venice is one of the capitals most beautiful areas, with gentle canals and quiet streets and only a stones throw from Paddington’s bars and pubs.
