Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre
The Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre was opened in 1989. Funded by the London Docklands Development Corporation and the Sports Council at a cost of £1.2 million with the aim of providing recreational water activities for all sections of the community living and working in the local area.
It is owned by The Docklands Sailing & Watersports Centre Trust, and managed by a wholly owned subsidiary company, The Docklands Sailing & Watersports Centre Limited. All directors and trustees are voluntary.
The Centre is based in an award winning purpose built facility, split over two floors with great views from the upstairs bar over the dock, and wet facilities downstairs. We are located at the west end of Millwall outer dock, on the Isle of Dogs in London.
