Renting Your Next Home Through Young London

Start your Search
Most people begin their property searches on the internet; and you’ve come to a good place to start.

Explore the Website
Use the Young London site to search the flats, apartments, duplexes and houses that we have for rent; take a look inside the properties through the photos and slideshows, get a feel for the layout with the floorplans and email details to a friend or print them for later.  You can also use the maps to see exactly where each property is and learn more about the local area to help to narrow down your search for a new home.

Register your Details
Once you’ve registered with Young London and told us what it is you’re looking for, we’ll keep you regularly updated with new properties that become available that match your needs.

Get out and See your Future New Home
There’s no substitute for seeing a property for yourself, so make an appointment to view your shortlist accompanied by one of our informative Lettings Consultants.  We’re open at times to suit you and can arrange viewings in the evening and during the weekend and Bank Holidays so you can view our flats at a time that’s right for you.

Choose your New Home
Once you’ve picked your favourite and we’ve gathered all the necessary information from you, we’ll carry out the referencing process and put forward your details to the landlord.

The Paperwork
A tenancy agreement is a legally binding document which clearly outlines the terms of the tenancy and safeguards your rights when renting a property.  The agreement that Young London uses is written in clear, easy to understand English and you will be given at least 24 hours to read the document and to ask if there’s anything that you don’t fully understand, before the document is signed by you and the landlord.

Young London also provides an inventory service, which documents the contents and condition of the flat before the tenancy begins.  Again, this is signed by both you and the landlord when you move in.

Rent and Deposit
A rental payment is required in advance, before you’re able to move into the property.  A deposit is also taken, which is reimbursed to you at the end of the tenancy, subject to the details of your agreement and following the inventory check-out report.  As per legislation introduced in 2006, where relevant, your deposit will be held by a third party as part of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS).

Congratulations!
With the paperwork all signed and rent and deposit paid, you’ll be given the keys to your new home and can move in!

We have a great selection of houses and flats for rent, many of which are exclusive to us, so call 020 7593 3300 and speak to one of the lettings team and get YOUR search underway
